The Khawaja Muhammad Yaar Faridi(R.A) was born in a
desolate town of Garhi Ikhtiar Khan in 1881. His father Abdul Karim
(R.A) being a saintly person who had an unremitting love for religion.
Paid special attention to the education of his prodigious son. The
Khawaja Muhammad Yaar Faridi(R.A) studied the Quran and passion at
Madrassah in Jalalpur. His Teachers like Maulana Rahmatullah, Muhammad
Hayat and Maulana Taj Mahmood kindled in him a spirit of religious
studies. After this, he went to Khawaja Ghulam Farid ( R.A) madrasah at
Chachran Sharif and graduated in religious studies in 1900. Even after
the death of Khawaja Farid (R.A) in 1901, he stayed at Chachran Sharif
with his holy son Khawaja Muhammad Bukhsh Nazak Karim( R.A) and grandson
Khawaja Moeenuddin (R.A) for his spiritual enlightenment and was
finally blessed with Khalafat ( desendency). He performed Hajj in 1915
and died in Lahore in 1948 at 67. First he was buried near the wall of
Mian Meer’s (R.A) mausoleum but after six months his holy remains were
first transferred to the place adjacent to his tomb and again after 14
years, to the place that is now his eternal abode. The following verse
