Quran Saar |
“Qur’an Saar”, is an attempt to put the essence of the 'Qur’an' in poetry form in the language of the common man. Not many people have read the Qur’an themeselves. Whatever knowledge of the Qur’an they have is acquired from others. An attempt, therefore, has been made to present this Qur’an saar for the common readers to see for themselves what the Qur’an says.
The
Qur’an is the word of God Almighty. The objective of the Qur’an is to
make man aware of the Creation plan of God. That is, to tell man that
God created him as an eternal creature and divided his life span into
two periods for reward or punishment as merited by his stay on earth. In
the present world of trial, any man or woman, to be eligible for reward
needs to have two qualifications; one is to acknowledge the Creator and
the other is to lead a principled life, as per the guidelines laid down
in the Qur’an. The Qur’an comprises of 114 Surahs or chapters and 6236
Ayats or verses. The author has translated these into 1669 poetic
verses. Making the effort to present the translation in straightforward
language. However, the order of the Surahs and Ayats have been
maintained, although at many places the Ayats have been clubbed together
in an attempt to put their essence in a poetry form.
In
the web page, due to some font problem, it is not showing some words
correctly, specially the half “ka” and half “ba” and , therefore words
like ‘kya’, ‘kyonki’, ‘hukm’, ‘prakkathan’, ‘shatabdi’ etc have appeared
as ‘ ya’, ‘ yonki’, ‘hu m’, ‘pra kathan’ in Hindi. I request the
esteemed readers to ignore this and to read the words correctly
according to the context.
