Crimea asks to allocate 800 mln rubles for repatriates

Crimean Council of Ministers appealed to Russian Ministry of Finance to allocate 800 mln rubles to settle issues of deported citizens, head of the republican committee for nationalities and deported citizens Zaur Smirnov announced.
 
“It is expected they allocated money would be spent for settlement, adaptation and integration of deported people in 2014”- he said.
 
According to Mr. Smirnov the priority issues that are to be financed are construction and start-up of domestic buildings, creation of national schools along with water, electricity and gas supplies of the districts of compact residing of repatriates.
 
A reminder that April 21 Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree on the rehabilitation of ethnic minorities who suffered during the repression of the Stalin era.
